Melissa Harrison will look to add the Condobolin Cup to the stable’s mantlepiece on Saturday.

Taking on the $11,000 feature race on the picnic program is six-time winner, Bobby’s Secret, who has drawn gate four in the six-horse field.

Eloise Drews has been picked up for the ride, and the 7YO Bobby’s Kitten gelding, who will carry 63kg, looks well-placed.

Earning over $126,000 in 71 starts, Bobby’s Secret won the 2024 Gulargambone Cup and finished second in the 2025 Carinda Cup and 4th in the 2025 Mendooran Cup.

Three runs back following a short let-up, Bobby’s Secret went around at Tumbarumba on January 31 and raced well to finish third in the 1200m Benchmark 50 Handicap.

Back to his pet distance (1400m) and four runs into his preparation, Harrison and connections will be hoping their stable stalwart can land the seventh win of his career.

It will be a good race, though, with Picnic Cup queen, Connie Greig, starting three chances (Pickaxe, Blackhill Kitty, & Wotastatement), along with Benno Bowen (Silver Agent) and Kylie Kennedy (Ready For Lift Off) starting runners.

Wotastatement appears to be the major player, with the Dubbo galloper winning her past two starts, including her maiden (800m) at Gilgandra on February 7 before taking out the 1100m Class Three Trophy at Bedgerabong on February 14.

The 5YO Press Statement mare will have to step up in distance and class again to win the Condobolin Cup. Recent Bedgerabong Cup runner-up Silver Agent (Paul Zerafa) has only won the one career race, but has to be respected as well.
